The cold front moved thru early this morning and by tonight, we will get a taste of some great Fall weather!
Acording to the NWS , we may get some rain next week to "dust off the pumpkins!
(LONG TERM...FRIDAY NIGHT THROUGH MONDAY...THE EXTENDED PERIOD STARTS DRY...WITH INCREASING CLOUDINESS OUTAHEAD OF SOME RETURN FLOW IN WESTERN ARKANSAS. MEANWHILE A TROUGHWILL STRENGTHEN AND DIG OVER THE ROCKIES...AND EVENTUALLY MOVE EASTOVER THE SOUTHERN PLAINS. THIS WILL BRING A COLD FRONT INTO THE FABY EARLY IN THE WORK WEEK. GFS SHOWS A CUT OFF LOW STALLING OVER THESOUTHERN PLAINS THROUGH MIDWEEK BEFORE LIFTING OUT...WHERE AS THEECMWF SHOWS A MUCH WEAKER FRONT AND HAS IT MOVING OUT MUCH QUICKER.DUE TO THE UNCERTAINTIES...KEPT SLIGHT POPS IN THROUGH THE END OFTHE PERIOD.TEMPERATURES WILL WARM TO ABOVE NORMAL LEVELS THROUGH THE WEEKEND ASSOUTHERLY FLOW CONTINUES. BY EARLY IN THE WORK WEEK...TEMPS WILL BENEAR TO A FEW DEGREES BELOW AVERAGE ON ACCOUNT OF THE CLOUDS ANDRAIN CHANCES.)
