Listen....................

Did you hear that? If you listen real close , you can almost hear IT. The gentle north breeze, a cicada finding its flight, the loud THUD of hickory nuts falling on our metal utility building after being gnawed and dropped by "cat" squirrels. The sign are all there-FALL IS IN THE AIR!

Beautiful, event-less weather is in store for the MIDSOUTH the next few days. Our thoughts and prayers are with those in Canada who may be in the path of Hurricane Bill, which has been downgraded to a CAT 1.

Looking down the road a bit, some models have a tropical system coming up into Caribbean and possibly the Gulf late next week-still a long ways out to try to predict .

Last night's low was 66. Today's high was 83. Tonight's low is expected to be @ 59 degrees! Sweet!!
