Another mild day (for August standards) is occurring here in the Midsouth. Although a return flow has already began to set up and even though it is muggier than it was 48 hours ago-still not bad!
Temps will come back up to normal levels before another cold front invades the Midsouth later this weekend with even cooler air possibly behind this one. Some record lows may be recorded early next week.
The East coast may be dealing with a tropical system by that time. Sure would like to see that moisture find its way over to South Texas. Plenty of tropical season left for that to happen though.
Some models are hinting at a pretty moist September which could make September cooler than average. Stay tuned!!
